HE LIKES PERFORMING ALL FORMS OFF JAZZ

Swing, bebop, latin jazz, free jazz... But what stands out especially is at the same time the love of the old style, the tradition of the swing as well as avant-garde and the common revolutionaries. In other words, the love of the rhythm, the melody and at the same time the arrhythmia, the polyrhythmic and the total dissonance as well as the fusion between poetry and music, contemporary music, gipsy music.

For him, the highlight of jazz is especially represented by the legendary figure of the great saxophonist Charlie Parker as well as by the "Post-Parkerians" : Phil Woods, Jackie Mac Lean, Sonny Stitt... The guitarists, René Thomas and Wes Montgomery, greatly influenced his work.

Gipsy swing has a major importance. Grappelli is his master in the jazz violin and is inevitable for all those who want to practice this Art or who practice it. One can so speak for him of deep root, of feeder mother. Every time of his life, he always feels the desire to return to it.
